Well, there are two ways. You could go the pricey way with John Frieda Brilliant Brunette...or you could go the cheap way with Garnier Fructis or Suave. They have special colored shampoos that leave you're hair colorful up to an extra 6 weeks.

I like Pantene for colored hair. Helps with the fading.

Salons always have the best and most effective products... most store bought products are cheap because pretty much the only thing in it is water
i say use graham webb thickening infusion i think its called..and biosilk by farouk for a conditioner. these products work well and can be found in your hair salon, a beauty shop, or www.usahaircare.com
I just recently started using Loreal Vive. It's a newer shampoo.. and it IS kind of expensive.. but it works miracles on dyed/highlighted hair! (they have different shampoos for dyed and highlighted hair!)
