Can you recommend a shampoo, conditioner etc?

I need a little advice from some of you haircare experts. My hair is quite long, mid back length, quite fine and with not much volume with looooads of split ends. Can anyone recommend a shampoo and conditioner? Maybe even a serum or miracle hair care product? Anything that will make my hair look more healthy and volumous, basically! Herbal Essences works great :) I'm pretty sure there is both a variety for adding volume and for damaged hair. You could always mix and match by using the shampoo for volume and the conditioner for damaged hair (It's in the blue bottle...works great and smells wonderful!)





Unfortunately there is no magical serum for healing split ends...none of the advertisements are telling the truth when they say they can ';repair them';. Have all the split ends trimmed off and then use heat protection spray (Tresseme is good) whenever you use heat on your hair.Can you recommend a shampoo, conditioner etc?

I'd definitely try and aim for some sort of hair repair treatment shampoo and conditioners. Aussie shampoo and conditioner are amazing for this. They're a bit on the pricey side, but most definitely worth it.





Do you heat style your hair often? If so I'd recommend a heat defence spray. Spray it on to wet hair, blow dry, and you're good to go. =]





For the split ends I'd recommend getting them trimmed, as there really is no solution other than this for split ends.





So basically: Buy a good and reliable brand of shampoo and conditioner (Aim for Aussie!), if you style your hair often use heat defence spray, and trim the split ends.

I love the aussie range. I have fine limp hair with split ends and i use their real volume shampoo with their luscious long conditioner. I also use their 3 min miracle reconstructor, hair mask. This leaves my hair so soft and shiny and it smells amazing for the whole day!
Try avon, they have a serum for dry ends, that always works for splits end etc... I used it the last time i grew my hair and it helped alot!


They also have volume shampoos etc but for that I use Treseme, they have a intense moisturiser as well!
The Herbal Essences Hydralicious shampoo works wonders, as well as Tresemme's thermal recovery conditioner.


But Mane N Tail adds volume and makes hair soft and bouncy and not weighed down at all.

Sun Silk - Volume (They are brilliant and not so expensive, you can buy it from Wilkinsons, Boots, Superdrug)
I think Dove is the best for getting rid of split ends, softening the hair and also poofing thin hair out to give volume, while being affordable.
Tres eme has worked for me and my wife - they have one for split ends i think the bottle with the green text.
