i have alot of split ends and i just want them gone!

Split ends happen in many ways, primarily from abuse. If you flat iron like a mad woman, if you color your hair a lot, if you constantly change shampoos/conditioners, blow drying your hair excessively, harsh brushing and combing.





JB- is right! Get a trim. But tell your stylist to cut only 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. Once your split ends are gone, use the correct shampoo for your specific hair type and if it is colored. I recommend Sun Silk. I have recommended this to my clients and they came through with fantastic results.





To make sure that those split ends are gone, take better care of your hair. Get regular scalp treatments every 8 weeks and get your hair colored every 4, if you choose to have it colored. Products don't get rid of Split ends, They Stick them back together, Which is only temporary, and not recommended, as Split ends DO and WILL cause Breakage. The ONLY way to get rid of Split ends is a trim...and the only REAL way to prevent them is a trim every 4-6 weeks.
your best bet is to get a trim so that most of your split ends go;


then to keep your hair in a nice condition use a weekly mask for the hair where you soak it for a few minutes so that all moisture is absorbed.


i find herbal essences are not only great smelling hair products but the conditioners are excellent for keeping your hair soft and silky.
