Is it true that you need to use the same conditoner as your shampoo?

No its not true at all, thats an addition they make for marketing. Some shampoos don't work with their conditioner for some people. Me I've never had a problem, I use the Fredrick Fekaii Technician shampoo and conditioner set and sometimes I use The Body Shop Olive Glossing shampoo and conditioner set and the Herbal Essences Drama Clean set.

No that is not true at all. Its a marketing ploy by the manufacturer to sell more product. You can mix the brands of shampoo and conditioner however you like.Is it true that you need to use the same conditoner as your shampoo?
It's not true. Conditioner is conditioner. Whatever you wanna use, use it!! =]
No of course not, it's not like your hair will fall out. But i typically do so that I don't mix scents and smell like a French prostitute.

no. that is more for commercial purposes, when you go to a store and buy a shampoo you will naturally think ';oh, i need to buy the same brand of conditioner!'; therefore buying more of their product. I must admit that sometimes when I'm out of conditioner and have to use a different brand as the shampoo I'm a little hesitant as to whether it will work or not but it's all in my head. Depends on the combination too, if you have dry hair and use conditioner for oily hair, the results will probably not be as good.
No, you don't have to. But it would probably be better because most shampoos and conditioners that are the same brand work hand-in-hand in some way. I always use the same shampoo and conditioner. The only time I use a different shampoo and conditioner is when I want to get rid of dandruff or something--once every few weeks I will use a dandruff shampoo and my regular conditioner.





I use a conditioning treatment from a different brand though.
